The CAT Parade

January 25, 2011, the day that I will surely never forget. The day that the CAT I-Unit of Ilocos Sur National High School showed their ability and obviously the best among all the groups of CATs that attended the said parade. And I am proud to say that I was a part of it.

Wearing the fatigue with the name cloth sewed on it, the beret on our head, the neckerchief around our neck and the white gloves on our palms was a perfect outfit but it acquires a great responsibility. Marching around the streets of Vigan, executing the "liko sa kaliwa or kanan" and the hand salute rendered to the Government Officials of Vigan led by Mayor Eva Medina made the event so extravagant. It was a great honor everytime the people we pass by tells us that we are like true militaries and we are the best. Smiles want to escape from our face but we controlled ourselves. We must act like real CATs that time and a hundred percent discipline is required.

The CAT I-Unit, the best group that I ever joined. It helped me a lot in any aspect of my life. And the Longganisa Festival was an opportunity that showed the whole Vigan how Mr. Bernardo Rabaca trained us. :)

My Reflection

Eight months have already passed and we only have two months left. A short time but we can do many things to improve ourselves.

This third grading, I learned a variety of lessons. I enjoyed working with the HTML tags and making a website. Because of that, I was able to reminisce what happened in the first day of our classes. That day, I asked ma'am Eve, "ma'am, how can we make a website?" "You will learn about that soon," she answered me. I waited, then that question was answered in this grading. We made our own website consisting of our project the last grading. I was challenged but I was so eager to learn so I still tried. I enjoyed so much because I do love designing. It awakened my creativeness.

Moving on...I will do better in the last grading. :)

New Year, New Chelsea

Hello 2011! Bye-Bye 2010. Another year have passed: a year that was full of mistakes and wrong decisions. A new year means a lot to me. This time, I would be more matured and I will think a thousand times before doing something.

2011: The year that the easy-go-lucky Chelsea will transform into a better and more serious person.

No playing anymore, especially with love because it just hurts me and that someone. No more childish actions bacause I'm already sweet sixteen. No more "pasaway" especially in school and in our house (my mom hates that!haha). No more going home late bacause I just want to. No more crying because of that *blah blah* cause Im already tired of doing that and the most important, no more unfinished projects and activities (its hard to rush and cram) in short "TO BE MORE SERIOUS IN MY STUDIES", college is fastly coming....

I think this is my lucky year and I hope I can do everything that I mentioned above. :)

It Was A Perfect Christmas

I waited so long for this season to arrive...a season for me to have time for my family and friends. Long hours of sleep, no homeworks, and ofcourse, seeing colorful houses because of the christmas lights and other decorations make this time so perfect.

Christmas....the best word that ever existed (for me). Everytime I'm hearing it, I just feel too much happiness and joy. Not because I will be receiving gifts and cash from my family and relatives...rather, I just love to think that if not all, most people in the world knows that its time for giving, sharing and loving. Its also the time for forgiving and reconciling. Based on my experience this Christmas, its the best period for asking forgiveness to the people you have done wrong with. They would accept your apology easily then you can start all over again.

It was a full time of hanging out with my friends. We went wherever we want and we did everything we wanna do (no hanky-panky). It was like its already our last christmas..we spent it to the fullest. We were very happy and one time we didn't notice that it is already dark. We went home late and we were scolded by our parents but that didn't stop us. The next day we went out again to have picnic at the beach even though the sun's rays were striking (it was around 11 A.M.-12:30 P.M.). Can you also do that? :)

It was indeed so perfect. Every single event that happened was unforgettable. I love Christmas and thank you God for giving us your son: Baby Jesus.

Magandang Pagsasamahan Tungo Sa Maayos at Maunlad Na Lipunan

You and I: we are a part of the society. A place where we are living and it is where we interact with different people with variety of roles but with a single purpose which is to reach the peak of progress and success.

"UNITY," the oneness of all the people living together. It is so important to develop this because it will lead us to a better and definitely, a more organized place to stay in. The question is how? How can we achieve that goal? The answer goes like this , we can make everything if we will have LOVE and PEACE towards other people. If, we will do this, for sure, UNITY will meet us on our way.

With LOVE and PEACE with in us, we will develop the UNBREAKABLE UNITY that everyone of us are aiming to have and if we have UNITY, a MORE ORGANIZED, MORE PROGRESSIVE and a SUCCESSFUL society will be the fruit of our STRONG COOPERATION.
